Clark Reder Engineering was responsible for the design and review of the temporary structures erected for this outdoor winter event. The structures consisted of aluminum box truss towers, video wall support structures, five story scaffold control towers, aluminum truss start structures and various other structures. Clark Reder utilized the natural environment to create snow anchors that were load tested and used as structural anchors in lieu of concrete blocks. Clark Reder also provided on-site structural observation for this event working directly with ESPN’s Health and Safety department to ensure a safe event.
