Clark Reder Engineering provided structural design for the orchestra shell walls and ceilings. This project was unique due to the size and weight of the walls and ceilings (nearly 50,000 lbs for the walls alone, with an additional 25,000 lbs for the ceiling), and the added complexity of the side walls having to track offstage and pivot before flying out to store overhead.
